Who we are?

We are a group of Filipino IT enthusiasts focusing on Open Source technologies such as LAMP, Perl, Java, etc.

Our group lead, Benjie Zamora, has envisioned an IT-aware Philippines through web advocacy, up-to-date education and domestic interaction. Together with his college classmate Aaron Cabuling, he tried to form a free hosting of favicons/avatar (also known as avatar) through http://www.myfavatar.com. As the traffic rose (thanks to everyone who supported Smile), the cost of maintaining the said site has became dim. Now, together with Ryan Ty, he is hoping to create a web service to our fellow Filipinos to know where the cheapest and most affordable goodies are located here in the country.
