Taxpayers' suit against Full Poll Automation

I am from UP and I believe in some of Harry Roque's arguments regards the required pilot testing of the said machines but I kinda question his motives. He has been associated with the opposition, who has always been opposed to automation. (Bakit kaya?).

I am very much wanting the poll automation. I am also an IT wannabee Wink (9 years in IT) and I think there would be some flaws in the implementation. But generally, I think this poll automation (in a technical sense) would be ok. The implementation as depicted in http://abs-cbnnews.com/nation/07/23/09/automation-tech-secure-%E2%80%93-smartmatic-tim is good though there are some slight questions regards the transmission of the physical memory cards. But again, there are safeguards in which this flaw can be remedied (i.e. backup secured copies, etc.).

I implore that we go with the online automation. I still think that it would not totally eradicate the problem of cheating but it will totally lessen it (konti lng kasi marunong talaga sa IT, kaya kinakabahan yung mga di marunong kasi di sila makakapandaya Tongue out).

 

UPDATE:  Have just read from inquirer.net that a review of automation code is now set in February... Makapag-apply kaya as code reviewer Sealed.. hmmm.
